The two years of COVID-19 lockdown (2020-21) was a stressful period for
us all but, thanks to the sterling efforts of our Music Director Stephen
Roke, BMVC maintained weekly "virtual rehearsals" via ZOOM
meetings. Then, within a few short weeks of our return to
"normality," he was sadly obliged to resign his post due to ill
health.
Stephen's predecessor, the vibrant and charismatic Jack Simmonds,
had meanwhile postponed his European travel plans during the pandemic
and was fortunately available at short notice, to resume the MD role -
until February 2023.
Thank you Jack.
Our arms are now opened wide, to welcome the very accomplished
Pat White - only our third female Music-Director in the
history of Brighton Male Voice Choir.
So, now would be a
good time to join us ...
We meet on a Thursday evening at 6:45-9:00pm in the Methodist Church
Hall in Woodingdean.
